Quenza Classic and the New Quenza: What Is the Difference?

If you have heard about "the new Quenza" and are not quite sure how it relates to the Quenza you have been using, you are not alone. Here is the short version: they are two separate products, and you decide when, or whether, to move across.

They are two separate products

This is the most important thing to understand. Quenza Classic and the new Quenza are not two versions of the same app. They are two different products, running side by side:

  • Separate apps. Quenza Classic is the original app you already know. The new Quenza is a different app, at my.quenza.com, with its own mobile app for you and your clients.
  • Separate logins. You sign in to each one separately. An account on one does not give you an account on the other.
  • Separate subscriptions. A Quenza Classic subscription does not cover the new Quenza, and the other way around.

You are welcome to use both at the same time if that suits you. Most people, once they have moved across and settled in, close their Classic account so they are not paying for two subscriptions.

We built the new Quenza from scratch

The new Quenza is not an update, a redesign, or a new coat of paint on the old app. It is an entirely new product, built on a completely new codebase from the ground up.

Why we built a new product

Over the years, you asked us for a lot. Deeper client management, chat, groups, richer content, integrations, and much more. The original Quenza was designed to do one thing well, deliver exercises and programs to clients, and its underlying architecture was never designed to carry that level of complexity.

We could have kept stretching it, but that would have meant slower releases and more compromises. Instead we started fresh, with a foundation built to handle everything you have been asking for and everything still to come.

The new Quenza is faster, and it keeps growing

The new Quenza is quicker to use and built so that new features can ship quickly. This is where our development work happens now, so it is where new capabilities land first.

Quenza Classic is still supported

Quenza Classic is not going away, and we continue to support it. There is no hard deadline and no pressure to rush. You move when you are ready.

How to migrate

You do not migrate anything yourself. You tell us you are ready and our team moves your account across for you.

  1. In Quenza Classic, open Settings, then Migration in the submenu.
  2. Fill out the form. You can keep using Quenza Classic the whole time.
  3. We migrate your data and let you know when it is done. You log in to the new Quenza and pick up right where you left off.

Here is what to expect:

  • Everything comes across. Your clients, activities, programs, and account content all move to the new Quenza. Nothing is lost or altered, and you will not rebuild anything from scratch.
  • No downtime. You and your clients can carry on as normal while the migration runs in the background.
  • You choose your plan. After migrating you pick the plan that fits how you work today, from our current tiers. You are not locked into anything based on your old Classic plan.
  • Your Classic account is yours to keep or close. Leave it active, or close it once you are settled in.
  • Your clients have a couple of small steps. They will need to download the new app or sign in at my.quenza.com. Share the client migration guide with them so you do not have to explain it yourself.
  • If something looks off, contact support. Your Classic data is not deleted straight away, so we can always go back or make adjustments.

Full details are in the Quenza Classic Migration Guide.
