Restoring an Archived Client

If you previously archived a client and want to make them active again, you can easily restore them from your Client Listing. Restoring a client reactivates their account, unlocks full functionality, and returns them to your active billing count.

This guide explains how to identify archived clients and how to unarchive them step by step.

What Happens When You Restore a Client

When you unarchive (restore) a client:

  • They regain full access to the Quenza app
  • You can once again send activities and programs
  • You can share notes, assign tasks, and include them as a task or note context
  • Their account returns to your Active Clients list
  • They begin counting toward your billing again

All of their historical data, notes, messages, and activity history remain intact.

How to Restore an Archived Client

Follow these steps to unarchive a client:

1. Go to the Client Listing

Open the Client Zone to access your full client list.

2. Set the Filter to “All Clients”

Archived clients do not appear if your filter is set to Active Clients.

Change the filter to All Clients so all statuses are visible.

3. Identify Archived Clients

Archived clients are easy to spot: Their avatar and name appear grayed out and their status badge is labeled "Archived". This helps you visually distinguish them from active clients.

4. Open the Client Options Menu

Find the archived client you want to restore.

Click the three dots (⋯) on the right side of their row.

5. Select “Unarchive”

In the dropdown menu, click Unarchive.

A confirmation modal will appear.

6. Confirm the Restoration

Review the confirmation prompt, then click Unarchive to proceed.

The client will immediately be restored to active status.

After Restoring a Client

Once unarchived:

  • You can assign activities, programs, notes, and tasks
  • The client can interact normally with the app again
  • They will once again count toward your client billing

If you restored a client accidentally, you can archive them again at any time.
