Getting Started with Activities
Activities are one of the most powerful features in Quenza. They allow you to deliver interactive experiences to your clients that support reflection, learning, and transformation between sessions. Whether you are sending assessments, worksheets, journaling prompts, or meditations, activities help you stay connected with your clients in meaningful ways.
To help you get started quickly, we have created a short video that shows you how to create and customize your own activities in just a few steps.
Your Activity Library
All of your activities are stored in your personal activity library. Here you will find anything you have created yourself, as well as any ready-made activities you have added from Quenza’s built-in library.
Pre-made activities are professionally designed and ready to use immediately. You can explore them, click Add to library, and they will appear alongside your own creations. These templates can be sent as-is or customized to better fit your client’s needs.
Building an activity from scratch
To create your own activity, click the + Activity button in your Library. This opens the Activity Builder, where you can give your activity a title and begin designing its content.
The builder has three tabs at the top:
- Content: This is where you build the activity using a variety of elements such as text, questions, sliders, images, and more.
- Instructions: This section is private and meant for your own notes. You can use it to describe how the activity should be used or to keep track of the purpose and context.
- Settings: Here you can upload a cover image, write a short description for your own reference, and choose the type of activity you are creating. This helps keep your library organized and makes it easier to find activities later.
Adding content to your activity
In the Content tab, click the + Element button to start building. You can choose from many element types. For example, to add a multiple choice question, simply select it, then enter your question and the possible answer options.
As you add elements, each one will appear in the builder. You can collapse them for a tidy view and reorder them at any time. There is no limit to how many elements you can use, so feel free to create a complete and engaging experience.
To organize your content further, you can add Sections. These help you group related elements together and create a clear flow for your clients.
Previewing and saving
If you want to see what your clients will experience, click the Preview (eye) button at the top right. This opens a live view of the activity from their perspective. Once you are happy with how everything looks, click Save and the activity will be stored in your library.
Reusing and personalizing
The activities you create can be used with as many clients as you like. You can make copies, customize versions for different needs, or build a library of go-to tools that grow with your practice.
Quenza gives you the flexibility to start with a blank page or build on proven templates. Either way, you have everything you need to create powerful, personalized resources that make a difference.
